Our legacy dates back to 1950 when ‘Southern Tea Store’ founded by Haji A Mohamed Haneefa in Big Bazar at Kollam. The store prospered as the first tea wholeseller in the area and witnessed a steady growth and became a dominant trading concern with all the necessary infrastructure and professional
expertise. It was also the first tea auction member in the prestigious Cochin Tea Trade Association.

In 2008, a new chapter began. Unigreen Condiments was setup to export packed and processed foods from Kerala to GCC Countries under the brand name Malabar Taste. The NRI community in the GCC countries welcomed the range of products with both hands. Delivering world class quality and authentic Kerala taste, the Malabar Taste brand soon became a household name. Encouraged by the success, the brand has widened its reach to other regions too.

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India recognized as ’Star Export House’ for exceptional performance. Presently, Unigreen condiments and its celebrated brand Malabar Taste stand to represent authentic Kerala taste among the Malayalee diaspora.
